Is It okay Playing Gospel Music In Bars?

Is It Okay Playing Gospel Music in Bars? Listening to Gospel music in drinking places does not make one born again. Gospel music is just like any other genre of music, unless you have Christ.

But is it alright Playing Gospel music in drinking places, more especially for people who are not yet born again?

I feel what makes Gospel music special is having Jesus in your heart. With Jesus in your heart, Gospel music, brings healing, comfort, direction and deliverance. Below is what others had to say. I would like to take this time and thank you all my fellow Bloggers for taking your time to contribute on this subject, “whether Gospel music should be played in alcohol drinking places or not”.

Our Contribution to question Is it okay playing gospel music in bars?: Is very wrong for people who are not yet born again
to be listening to Gospel music in drinking places, like Bars while
drinking alcohol?

(Colossians 3:16) ~ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly,
teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

(Ephesians 5:18-19) And do not get drunk with wine, for that is
debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in
psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the
Lord with your heart.

Hello, I think that if gospel music is going to bring people to Christ, it has to be played in places where there are people who haven’t yet converted.  Otherwise, gospel music is only being heard by those who already believe.  But in all cases, the playing of gospel music must be intentional, and it must be treated with the same dignity as other forms of music.
There are some places where gospel is only used for dance music, with no intentions at all for providing a message. Is it okay playing gospel music in bars? It might as well be secular music, in that case. I hope this is helpful. Best, Bob Robert Marovich Founder and Editor-in-Chief Journal of Gospel Music 6807 North Lakewood Avenue, #LL Chicago, IL.
I think it is absolutely appropriate for non-believers to engage in Gospel music, how else are the believers suppose to reach them,
Chile don’t  think that Believers are not hanging in that same nightclub or bar- it gives them an opportunity to spread Good News!”. Now I know some might say what in the world is a Christian doing in a place like that, my response is Chile Pleeze!
