Peace Preacherz, a Zambian gospel music group, has released numerous songs that uplift and inspire their listeners, and “Ninkumbu Shenu” is no exception. The song, which was released in 2014, is a celebration of God’s grace and majesty, and an acknowledgement of the ways in which He has blessed our lives.
The title “Ninkumbu Shenu” can be translated to “Your mercy,” and the lyrics of the song reflect this sentiment. The opening lines speak of the vastness of God’s love and the way in which He has blessed us beyond measure, with lyrics like “Your love is higher than the mountains, and deeper than the oceans.”
As the song continues, it acknowledges the way in which people have worshiped God throughout history, with references to the psalms of David and the way in which people have called upon His name as the “King of Glory.”
