There is no right way or wrong on how to pray, but some methods are much more effective than others. After doing some research, which I stand corrected. It seems prayer centered on ourselves does not mostly move God. Because maybe there’s something we’re doing that’s hindering our prayer.
Remember, the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10. It must teach you something about powerful prayers that work instantly. If you read the bible, we can see Hanna’s prayer getting answered was connected to what she would do for God. It was not about her but about what she would do with the Child, named Samuel.
She made a vow, saying, “LORD Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.” – 1 Samuel 1:11
Prayer should not be too self centered, to fulfill our fleshly needs and desires. Prayer needs to be about God. Hence, sometimes its important to just forget about your problems.

Am I saying you should not pray for your struggles? Definitely not, because Gods children are always at war. So pray for your situations, problems, relationship, job, car, marriage and health, etc. James 4:5 says, When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
These 10 prayer points will help you get answers from God. Remember God, God cannot be mocked Galatians 6:7 and Jesus tells us to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33.
As you rob yourself in his presence, seeking him more and more each day. Making him your friend and not a tool to get things from when in need. God tends to solve your problems and drops answers even when you don’t expect.

God calls Abraham his friend because his ways pleased him, Read Genesis 18:1-8. Now imagine God calling you a friend? Isn’t that amazing and why would God’s friend luck anything? I don’t even think that’s possible. I also wondered why my prayer is not answered until I learnt about what I have just shared with you.
