What the bible says about living life? On this planet Earth, life will never be perfect as every now and then, there is an unfortunate situation that befalls us. There are wars that affect us even when we are not directly involved in them. For instance, the war that is currently taking place between Russia and Ukraine. It has impacted negatively a lot of lives, especially the citizens of Ukraine who have been fleeing their country to seek refuge in neighboring countries. However, the war has also affected the lives of people far from the two countries that are fighting such as Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe to mention, who rely on fuel supplied by Russia. The price of fuel has skyrocketed as a result of the sanctions imposed on Russia by NATO as a result of its invasion of Ukraine.

Apart from the war, there are deaths that often take our loved ones to the grave and leave a hole in our hearts and sometimes we question God why he allows death to visit our homes and leaves grief and despair. Poverty is also another blow that lives just next door to us. Sometimes we are the ones that get to experience poverty or someone we know and it breaks our hearts.

Not so long ago, COVID-19 struck and claimed a lot of lives and it is still here with us without any promise of leaving soon. They say it is now an endemic, meaning, it has come to stay. The question that many people are asking now is “What next after COVID-19?”

From the above situations, we know life is filled with a lot of unfortunate situations. But, is this all there is? Well, the Bible has many scriptures that tell us to live life to the fullest. This is in spite of all the negative things that get to befall us, problems are always going there, but that should not prevent us from living life to the fullest.

The following are the Bible passages that speak about how we need to live our lives while here on Earth:

Acts 2:46 admonishes us to live our lives with gladness and sincerity of heart. Yes, there are problems that will visit us from time to time, let us live with gladness knowing that God is in control of everything, that he holds the world in his hand, therefore, be glad.

Jeremiah 29:11 encourages us to live life to the fullest knowing that God has plans for us, plans not

to destroy us but rather, to prosper us. We are to wake up every day and go about our daily business knowing that the creator will prosper us in everything we do.

What the bible says about living life, 2 Timothy 1: 7 tells us not to be afraid of anything in this life because God did not give us the spirit of fear but of power. Meaning, that we can overcome anything that comes our way because we have the power that God gave us that we can use to defeat every challenge that may befall us.

Psalm 37:4 tells us to take delight in God who is able and capable of granting us all the desires of our hearts if we ask him. This verse implies that as we live in this world, whatever we lack, God can provide, and since he is the provider, we have to live with delight, but to God.

Mark 9:23 urges us that as we live our lives here on Earth, we need to believe that all is possible. In spite of bad things that usually take a toll on us, let us believe that it is possible to overcome them, only if we believe.

Matthew 6:33 instructs that we have whatever we desire in this life when we first seek God’s kingdom. Living a good life is possible if we first take care of God’s business, and in return, God will eventually take care of ours. Therefore, we need to invite God in our lives so that we do what he wants to do and we will have what desire after we have achieved what he desires us to do for him, and that, is how we ought to live our lives.

Therefore, it is imperative that we take time to read the Bible and get to know how God desires us to live as await his son’s second coming when he will eventually take his own to live life to fullest and eternally.
